Information for consumers before and after the order
A. Before the order
We make this information available to consumers clearly and comprehensibly before they place the order (page "Consumer information" on our website, linked from the pricing page and from Checkout). The items marked ⚑ must appear directly before the button that places the order (§ 312j(2) BGB).
1. Provider
Dipl.-Ing. Samir Alibabic – Online Marketing (sole proprietorship), Klugstraße 99, 80637 München, Germany, email: support@okconsent.com. There is no telephone number (question for the lawyer: open-questions.md, Q11 and Q18). No commercial register entry. More: Legal notice.
2. Main characteristics of the service ⚑
OKConsent is a hosted service for managing consent on websites. The plan booked ("1 site", "3 sites", "5 sites", "10 sites", "25 sites" or "99 sites") includes all features and the stated number of sites. A site is one domain with all its subdomains, plus staging and development addresses. The services are described in § 2 of the Terms. OKConsent gives no legal advice and does not warrant that a website is legally compliant (§ 10 of the Terms).
3. Price and payment ⚑
| Plan |

| 1 site |
€39 |
| 3 sites |
€64 |
| 5 sites |

- No VAT is charged (small business, § 19 UStG). The prices are shown as total prices, with the note "Gemäß § 19 UStG wird keine Umsatzsteuer berechnet." ("No VAT is charged under § 19 UStG"). There are no additional costs (freight, delivery or postage).
- Payment is made in advance for each licence year through Stripe. Accepted payment methods: card, PayPal and SEPA direct debit. Delivery restrictions: [none / name them, § 312j(1) BGB]. It is the total price for the billing period of one year, which the consumer pays again at each renewal as long as they do not cancel.
4. Performance and activation
We activate the paid plan without delay after successful payment. No goods are delivered. [Time performance begins: see withdrawal information, consumer's request.]
5. Term, renewal and cancellation ⚑
- The first licence year lasts one year. After that the licence renews for a further year each time unless the consumer cancels.
- In the first licence year the consumer may cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the first licence year.
- After the first licence year the consumer may cancel at any time with one month's notice; the unused part of the paid licence year is refunded pro rata.
- Consumers can cancel with the button "Verträge hier kündigen" (§ 312k BGB), which leads to our own cancellation page https://app.okconsent.com/kuendigen without sign-in. Stripe's customer portal serves only payment methods, invoices and changing plans. Details: Cancellation terms for consumers.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a right of withdrawal of 14 days, which they can exercise on our cancellation page https://app.okconsent.com/kuendigen without sign-in (the choice "Vertrag widerrufen") or in text form; we confirm receipt at once. The conditions, the consequences and the model withdrawal form are in the withdrawal information. It also says that, if the consumer requests that performance begins before the withdrawal period expires, compensation may be payable.
7. How it works, technical requirements, interoperability
The service is used in the browser (dashboard) and through a REST API, a command-line tool and an MCP server. To use it on a website, the customer must be able to add a script to the <head> of their pages. The script is compatible with common current browsers. There are no technical protection measures (DRM). [Check: complete the details on hardware and software environment and interoperability required by Art. 246a § 1(1) nos. 14 and 15 EGBGB.]
8. Defect rights, customer service, guarantees
The statutory rights for defects apply. We give no guarantee beyond the statutory rights. Customer service: by email to support@okconsent.com.
9. Out-of-court dispute resolution
We are not willing and not obliged to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
10. Concluding the contract: technical steps (Art. 246c EGBGB)
- In the dashboard under "Billing" the consumer chooses whether they order as a consumer or as a business. As a consumer they also find there the checkbox for the express request that the service starts before the withdrawal period ends, and the links to the withdrawal information and to this consumer information. They select a plan and click "Buy". They are redirected to Stripe's payment pages (Checkout).
- There they give their name, email address, billing address and payment details and have to accept the Terms; a note points to the privacy policy.
- The order is placed by clicking the button labelled with the obligation to pay. Before that, Checkout shows a summary.
- The contract is concluded when we accept the order by email confirmation or by activating the plan (§ 3 of the Terms).
- Input errors can be corrected in the form fields of Checkout before the order is placed, and the consumer can go back to earlier steps with the browser's or Checkout's back function. They can abandon the process at any time by closing the window.
- Storing the contract text. We store the order data. After the order the consumer is sent the contract text (these Terms, the order details, the withdrawal information) by email. The Terms can also be retrieved on our website at any time.
- Contract languages: German and English.
- We do not submit to any codes of conduct.
B. After the order
After the order, the consumer receives without delay, and at the latest when performance begins, a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium (email; § 312f(2) BGB). It contains:
- the content of the contract: plan, price, term, renewal and cancellation terms, method of payment;
- the Terms, the withdrawal information and the model withdrawal form (Art. 246a § 1(2) sentence 2 and § 4 EGBGB);
- the information in section A, as far as it was not already available in text form at the time of the order;
- the time at which performance began;
- a note that the invoice is provided through Stripe;
- the way to cancel ("Verträge hier kündigen", to our own cancellation page).
The confirmation email is built (TAS-924). Its text is the template order-confirmation-email.md; the Terms, the withdrawal information with the model withdrawal form and this consumer information are attached as files.
The consumer also receives invoices and receipts from Stripe electronically.
